Well, this is absolutely not something we wanted to discuss tonight, or any night, but Cardinals outfielder Oscar Taveras has passed away after a car accident in the Dominican Republic. He was just 22. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Taveras and his girlfriend, who also passed away in the accident.

Yeah, the Giants still tied the game on this lineout by Juan Perez – but Jarrod Dyson ensured that they wouldn’t get more than just the one run on the play. Talk about absurd. I wonder if Lorenzo Cain makes that catch if he’s starting in center and not right tonight.
