The Redskins beat the Cowboys 20-17 on Monday Night Football last night. Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper is apparently a Cowboys fan, which makes sense given that he was born in 1992, when the whole “America’s Team” narrative was getting shoved down the country’s throat.
Ian Desmond had some fun with Harper after the loss, pumping up his fellow DC-area team.

I like Harper, but he’s the epitome of “kid who grows up liking all of the good teams in sports”. A few years back, he famously called himself a Yankees fan when growing up, and there was also some nonsense about Duke basketball too.
Just don’t tell me he likes the Lakers too.
