The Movember MLB Mustache Madness continues. Our next match-up comes takes a look at the star ‘stache offerings from current MLB starting pitchers. Who makes our mustache rotation?
Carl Pavano
To be honest, I didn’t like Pavano’s mustache before, but it (excuse the pun) grew on me. This bristly offering is an homage to eras gone by, but without forcing the issue like the handlebar mustache does. Plus, anything to draw attention away from the fact that he spent most of his Yankee career on the DL with a butt injury has to be a good thing.
VS.
Derek Holland
OK, I know, this is supposed to be the best mustaches, but how can we possibly ignore Derek Holland’s playoff ‘stache. I mean, it is just soooooooo horrible. The temptation is to mock him for looking like a 13-year old going through puberty, but I think this mustache is one that is so bad that it does a complete 180 and becomes strangely awesome.
