With an abundance of starting pitching following this morning’s Jon Lester trade, the Oakland Athletics have flipped Tommy Milone to the Twins for Sam Fuld.

Milone had a 3.55 ERA in 16 major league starts this season, but was demoted to AAA following Oakland’s acquisitions of Jeff Samardzija and Jason Hammel at the beginning of July.
Fuld is your quintessential fourth/fifth outfielder, an all-glove guy that spent a brief amount of time with the A’s earlier this season before they lost him on waivers to the Twins.
