I didn’t think it would happen, but it did – David Price is on the move. The Rays have dealt their ace to the Detroit Tigers in a three-team deal also involving the Seattle Mariners.
mariners got austin jackson and send franklin to tampa. thats all of seattle's involvement.

Hear Rays getting Smyly. Price to Tigers.

There’s still a lot to unwrap here, but it looks like the Rays got Franklin and Smyly for Price, with possible other pieces coming over from Detroit. The return looks like a little weak, in my opinion.
UPDATE: The third piece going to the Rays is Willy Adames, an 18-year old shortstop that has hit .269/.346/.428 in A-ball.
Source: #Rays also get minor-league SS Willy Adames from #Tigers in Price trade.
