Wates appears to just be a throw-in by the Astros, but Cosart has a 4.41 ERA in 116 1/3 innings for Houston this season. He was part of the Hunter Pence trade between the Phillies and Astros. Hernandez is hitting .284/.348/.420 in 24 major league games this season, but mashed his way to a .337/.380/.508 line in 67 games with AAA Oklahoma City this season.
Marisnick was part of the blockbuster deal between the Marlins and Blue Jays two winters ago, but has struggled in 54 major league games since, hitting .178/.226/.223. With AAA New Orleans this year, he’s hit .277/.326/.434 with ten homers and 24 stolen bases. Moran was the sixth overall pick in the 2013 Draft by the Marlins, and hit .294/.342/.393 with five homers in 89 games for high-A Jupiter this season. Martes is a raw 18-year old who has a 4.97 ERA in 29 innings in rookie ball.
