Drew has been terrible since the Red Sox re-signed him earlier this summer. In 39 games, Drew has hit a paltry .176/.255/.328 with four homers and hasn’t given the Red Sox the boost they expected at all since they brought him back.
Johnson has been a solid hand for the Yankees this year, hitting .219/.304/.373 in 77 games while playing first, second, third, and both corner outfield positions for New York.
