There are a lot of things you can say about Philadelphia Phillies fans. And throughout the years, Jimmy Rollins had a hot and cold relationship with the city.
But when Rollins returned to Citizens Bank Park on Monday for the first time as a visitor, the reception given to him by the Phillies phaithful was fantastic.
That must have been quite overwhelming for Rollins, who tipped his helmet to the crowd twice during an ovation that lasted nearly a minute.
How about long-time teammates Carlos Ruiz and Ryan Howard also applauding Rollins? Excellent job all-around.
