The MLB All-Stars got no-hit in Japan

It hasn’t been a good tour of Japan so far for the MLB All-Star team that has been sent over there. They’ve lost the first three games in the five game Japan All-Star Series, and on Saturday, they lost 4-0 and got no-hit. Hoo boy. Here’s a highlight video of Samurai Japan’s no-hitter.

This wasn’t exactly a mediocre team that the MLB All-Stars put on the field. Stars like Ben Zobrist, Robinson Cano, Evan Longoria, and Yasiel Puig started, while Jose Altuve and Carlos Santana came in as late game replacements. They couldn’t even get one hit, and struck out 13 times. The four runs scored by Samurai Japan in the first three innings were more than enough to bring home the win.

I know it’s been a long year, and that this is a meaningless exhibition, but dammit, DO BETTER, MLB.
