This catch on the warning track by Mike Trout was ridiculous, even though it only prolonged Sunday’s Angels-Royals game by one more inning.

With men on the corners and two outs in the ninth, Trout’s diving grab of a Paulo Orlando sinking liner ended the inning for Kansas City and pushed the game into ten.
In the bottom of the tenth, the Royals got the win after a Kendrys Morales walk off single, pushing the Angels to 60-57 and a half game behind the Orioles for the AL’s second Wild Card berth.
