Before Thursday night’s Yankees-Indians game at Progressive Field, the four-year old twin daughters of Cleveland infielder Mike Aviles threw out the first pitches.
This may not seem like a huge deal until you realize that one of Aviles’ daughters, Adriana, is currently battling leukemia.

Wonderful job by the Indians to allow this to happen, and a pair of great tosses by Adriana and Maiya. Heartwarming stuff, and we wish Adriana the best in her fight.
