During the Tigers’ 10-8 win over the Cubs on Tuesday night, Miguel Cabrera showed off some of that defense that he’s…well, really not well-known for.
Anibal Sanchez threw a pickoff throw to first, and Dexter Fowler slide into the bag safely…but Cabrera fumbled his glove off.
The ball bounced off a wall by the dugout right to Cabrera, and he fired to second without a glove on to nail Fowler for the out.
Gloves are *so* overrated. Maybe Miggy should try playing without one more often.
