The Colorado Rockies are no longer the only MLB team that’s messed up on promotional items this season. In the Detroit Tigers’ defense, at least Miguel Cabrera’s name was spelled correctly — unlike Troy Tulowitzki and Nolan Arenado — on the bobblehead given out before Friday night’s game against the Mariners.
But there was one big problem with the Cabrera bobblehead that someone noticed.

The print on the two plaques of the Cabrera bobblehead is pretty small, but the error is definitely noticeable on a close look.
As tweeted by MLive.com’s James Schmehl, the manufacturer of the bobbleheads, Forever Collectibles took “full responsbility for this error” and apologized to Tigers fans. According to The Oakland Press‘ Matthew B. Mowery, the Tigers didn’t know about the error because the bobbleheads were pre-packaged.
Well, if fans at Comerica Park wanted a collectors item, they certainly have one now.
So if Cabrera won the National League MVP in 2012 and 2013 in this bobblehead universe, does that mean in a different reality, Mike Trout won American League honors in those two seasons?
