Massive fight at Triple-A Reno leads to 10 ejections

It turns out the Dodgers and Diamondbacks don’t even get along at the Triple-A level.

A massive brawl broke out early in Saturday night’s game between the Albuquerque Isotopes and Reno Aces. After nearly being hit with a pitch, Erisbel Arruebarrena was eventually called out on strikes. He apparently shoved Reno catcher Blake Lalli after the AB, and the dugouts poured onto the field.

As you can see, this wasn’t your typical “hold me back!” baseball fight — some heavy-duty punches were thrown as players were pinned against the backstop.

In all, nine players were ejected: Lalli, Kameron Loe, Aaron Cunningham, Andrew Chafin and Mike Jacobs for Reno; Arruebarrena, Walter Ibarra, Pedro Baez and Carlos Frias for Albuquerque. Reno manager Phil Nevin was also tossed, bringing the total to 10.
