This is baseball, and crazy stuff happens in baseball sometimes. One of those crazy things happened on Thursday – Madison Bumgarner and Clayton Kershaw faced off at AT&T Park, and the gates of hell opened during Bumgarner’s first at bat of the afternoon.
That’s right – Madison Bumgarner, Giants World Series pitching hero, homered off of Clayton Kershaw, reigning NL MVP and Cy Young winner.
The world may never be the same again.
