Jose Fernandez made his 2015 debut on Thursday following Tommy John surgery last May. But the biggest highlight of the day for Fernandez and the Marlins didn’t come on the mound – it came in the batter’s box.
That’s a pretty ridiculous homer, and it came off of another guy making his 2014 debut, Matt Cain of the Giants.
The end result? An improbably 396 foot blast.
