Hanley Ramirez had an eventful day on Friday.
During batting practice before the Red Sox-Orioles game at Fenway, he hit a line drive so hard that it cracked a pad on the center field section of the Green Monster.
He also wore the wrong red jersey before the game started.
The oddities didn’t exactly translate to a great performance on the field, however – Ramirez went 0/3 with a walk in Boston’s 3-2 win over the Orioles.
