By now, the exploits of minor league manager Joe Mikulik are quite well-known.
When an umpire makes a call Mikulik doesn’t like, he’ll go on a child-like tirade for the ages.
Sure enough, that happened again on Tuesday night after a play at the plate involving Mikulik’s Frisco Rough Riders and the Midland Rockhounds.
Midland catcher Bruce Maxwell dropped the ball on a play at the plate, and yet, the runner was still called out even after a discussion among the umpiring crew.
Mikulik then lost his damn mind. Again.
Helmet getting spiked? Check.
Dirt kicked all over home plate? Check.
Shoes removed and spiked? Check.
Shoe punted? Check.
Shoe thrown once again? Check.
Helmet getting kicked? Check.
Trash can thrown onto the field? Check.
At least he didn’t strip down or empty the dugout of bats and balls this time…
