At one point this year, the Los Angeles Dodgers trailed the San Francisco Giants by 10 games in the NL West. Now, with their win over the Giants Wednesday night, the Dodgers are NL West champions for the second year in a row.
Clayton Kershaw solidified his case for another Cy Young award, striking out 11 while only allowing a single run over 8 innings to clinch the division. As seen in the video, even the rival Giants had to tip their hats to a performance like that.
The Dodgers appear to be headed towards a first-round showdown against Adam Wainwright and the St. Louis Cardinals.
