On Sunday, it was announced that the New York Yankees would be retiring Andy Pettitte’s #46 despite his admission of taking HGH.
Yanks to retire Pettitte's 46, source confirms. Pettitte's son said first.

His former teammate, Chuck Knoblauch, took the opportunity to take a shot at Pettitte. Knoblauch was also an admitted PED user.
Congrats to 46. Yankees retiring his number. Hopefully they don’t retire it like his HGH testimony.

Woof. But then again, Knoblauch *does* have a point – players like Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, and Alex Rodriguez get destroyed for their PED use, while Pettitte simply skated on by without much criticism at all. I wonder what’ll happen when Pettitte comes up for induction into the Hall of Fame.
