I’m trying not to rip on the 5-1 Atlanta Braves too much…but I’m really not sure what Fredi Gonzalez and his coaching staff were thinking by challenging this stunning diving catch by Christian Yelich.
Yeah, it looked like the ball came out of his glove at first…but one look at the replay would have showed the Atlanta coaching staff that it was his *hat* that was on the ground and not the ball.
There wasn’t even much doubt from the replay crew – the review took about a minute.
