The Philadelphia Phillies have moved another player following the trade of Cole Hamels to the Rangers earlier this week. Outfielder Ben Revere is getting dealt to another busy team this week – the Toronto Blue Jays.
Ben Revere will be traded to Blue Jays. @JSalisburyCSN first had Totonto's interest in Revere.

The 27-year old Revere was acquired by the Phillies from the Twins prior to the 2012 season. 2015 has been the finest season of his career, as Revere has hit .298/.334/.374 with 24 stolen bases in 96 games this year.
With Toronto, Revere will likely end up getting the bulk of the playing time in left field. Four different players have received over 100 innings in left this year, including their current center fielder (Kevin Pillar), a utility infielder (Danny Valencia), a journeyman (Ezequiel Carrera), and a guy with an iron glove (Chris Colabello). Carrera is the only one of those four that is a lefty like Revere, so finding playing time shouldn’t be an issue.
The Jays also acquired reliever Mark Lowe from the Mariners on Friday. Lowe has a 1.00 ERA in 36 innings for Seattle this season to go along with 47 strikeouts and 11 walks.
