The beginning of Sunday’s Royals-Angels game in Tempe was delayed by…a swarm of bees. That’s right – awful, terrifying bees prevented a baseball game from being started on time.
Bee delays are actually becoming a pretty common thing, as terrifying as that may sound. A Mariners-Angels game in September of 2013 was delayed by a swarm of bees. A Giants-Diamondbacks game in Phoenix last April was delayed because of bees. A Red Sox-Yankees game last spring was delayed by bees.
Someone, please stop this madness.
