Andrew McCutchen hit a ridiculous Little League homer

During Thursday’s Twins-Pirates game at Target Field, Andrew McCutchen hit one of the damnedest Little League home runs we can remember seeing.

How was this scored? Good question! To the MLB.com box score we go…

Andrew McCutchen singles on a line drive to right fielder Eddie Rosario. Travis Ishikawa scores. Jaff Decker scores. Andrew McCutchen scores. Throwing error by right fielder Eddie Rosario. Interference error by third baseman Eduardo Nunez.

That doesn’t even detail the ridiculousness of the play. The single by McCutchen skipped by Rosario (doing his best impression of a matador), and he probably should have been charged with an error there. Then Brian Dozier’s cut off throw to third base two hopped through Eduardo Nunez’s legs, and Nunez collided with McCutchen, allowing him to score on fielder’s interference.

So the Twins have that going for them…which is cool.
