When it comes to baseball, Mike Trout is great at just about everything. Sure, you can quibble about his arm strength, but that’s about it.
Off the field, however, Trout has a lot of work to do. By all accounts he is a genial, upstanding fellow, but it turns out that he isn’t exactly a cinephile.

So, yeah, not only does Trout dig Marlon Wayans movies, but he is tight enough with him to dub him “his boy” and shill for his terrible, awful, no-good movie out of the goodness of his heart. Even if Trout did get paid to tweet this endorsement, it is hard to imagine there is any sum of money large enough for someone to pervert themselves like this, especially for a guy that just signed a nine-figure extension.
Oh well, it could be worse. At least he isn’t promoting Keenan Ivory Wayans movies, although I wouldn’t rule out Trout celebrating his next homer by screaming “I’m Gonna Git You Sucka!“
