Giancarlo is still gone, so the mammoth dingers are once again lacking from the list. But that doesn’t mean that the Blue Jays aren’t trying their best to populate our top five with their own monster blasts!
And once again, there are six homers on the list this week because of ties.
1. Edwin Encarnacion vs JR Graham, 471 feet (August 5th)
E-5 is getting hot. This homer was simply majestic, bouncing off the third deck in dead center field at Rogers Centre.
2. Carlos Gonzalez vs Taijuan Walker, 455 feet (August 5th)
The massive size of Coors Field makes absurd homers like this one almost look pedestrian.
3. Josh Donaldson vs Phil Hughes, 450 feet (August 4th)
Everything hit at Rogers Centre looks insane, probably because of the lack of lower level outfield seats and the way the decks are stacked. Buck Martinez yelling like a maniac doesn’t hurt the perception either.
4t. Lucas Duda vs Joe Ross, 448 feet (August 1st)
The Mets didn’t need to pull in the fences for this moonshot from Lucas Duda to get out of Citi Field.
