The longest home runs for the week ending April 23rd

Talk about a dramatic week at the top of the charts – we’ve got a brand new top three for the season, and a new leader on THE LIST for the season.

1. Alex Rodriguez vs Nathan Karns, 477 feet (April 17th)

I love this homer. I’ve never seen anyone smash a ball up to the Captain Morgan bar at the Trop. A-Rod absolutely killed this baseball.

2. Josh Donaldson vs Chris Tillman, 469 feet (April 23rd)

Oh goodness. Josh Donaldson and Rogers Centre are working out quite swimmingly together.

3. Edwin Encarnacion vs Brian Matusz, 463 feet (April 21st)

Upper level blast, pulled to left! Encarnacion and this park were just *made* for each other.

4. Starling Marte vs Jonathan Broxton, 460 feet (April 17th)

WOOF. Launching a homer into the left field bleachers at PNC Park? Take a bow, Starling, and enjoy the Marte partay.

5. Giancarlo Stanton vs Jerome Williams, 454 feet (April 21st)

Hey there Giancarlo, we’ve been looking for you. Stanton destroys baseballs at Citizens Bank Park, and as someone who frequently hangs out right about that bullpen, I can attest to the fact that it takes some muscle to get a ball up there.
