The All-Star Selection Show continued into its second day on ESPN Monday night, and the reserves and pitchers for the American and National Leagues were revealed. The starters were announced before Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN.
Andrew McCutchen will be starting in the outfield to replace Giancarlo Stanton for the National League, and Kris Bryant was chosen to replace Stanton on the NL’s roster. Albert Pujols will replace Miguel Cabrera in the American League’s lineup at first base, and Mark Teixeira replaced Cabrera on the AL’s roster. Matt Holliday’s status is still a question mark for the Senior Circuit, but if he can’t start, a replacement will be named.
