VIDEO: Mike Trout celebrated his $1 million salary by launching a grand slam

Just when you think Mike Trout can't get any more awesome at baseball, something like this happens.

With the Angels already leading the Cubs 5-1 in the fourth inning of their game on Friday, Trout came up to the plate with the bases loaded and James McDonald on the hill. He proceeded to deposit a 2-0 fastball from McDonald over the left field berm, one-hopping the hedges and bouncing out of Tempe Diablo Stadium.

That my friends, is what we call a grand slam (and a monstrous one and that). I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Trout isn't distracted by his talks of a long-term contract extension with the Angels.

Reminder: Trout will make just $1 million this year, less than 14 of his Angels teammates.
