If you're not familiar with the Brewers' unofficial mascot Hank, here's a quick primer – Hank is a stray dog that the Brewers found wandering around their Spring Training complex. After a checkup with a veterinarian, who revealed that Hank may have been hit by a car, the Brewers have been taking care of Hank and have welcomed him to their family.
On Wednesday, Hank made his debut running with Milwaukee's famous Racing Sausages. Dressed in a hot dog costume, Hank turned in a commendable performance for an opening effort. If his owner isn't found, it's expected that someone with the organization will adopt Hank and take him back to Milwaukee when Spring Training ends next month. Until then, let's just all get emotional about everyone in Brewers camp falling in love with him.
