We've crossed the halfway point of our season preview series, and this week we're focusing on one of the more unpredictable divisions in baseball – the American League Central. Really, would you be shocked by any team aside from the Tigers finishing last in 2014? But we're not talking about the Tigers today – we're talking about the Chicago White Sox, who put together one of their worst seasons in franchise history a year ago. If the pattern holds, the White Sox will finish above .500 this year, and that's something their fanbase could really use.
Friday on TOC, we wrapped up NL West week with Dodgers Day, and here's your recap.

Also over the past few days, the Twins announced that #2 prospect Miguel Sano would miss the year because of Tommy John surgery and Mike Trout celebrated his $1 million contract for 2014 by hitting a grand slam off of the Cubs. Hey, it's White Sox Day – why not throw some shade at the Cubs while we're at it?
