Dugout Digest – welcome to Mets Day

In recent history, Mets fans haven't had a lot to look forward to going into the season. Heading into the 2014 season, it's a mixed bag once again – Matt Harvey won't throw a pitch this season, but David Wright is still a Met, Curtis Granderson switched boroughs and will now be playing in Queens, and while Zach Wheeler did debut in 2013, he should spend a full season in the majors this season, and could be joined by another top prospect in Noah Syndergaard.

Yesterday was Phillies Day, and here's your recap.

Two biggest weaknesses
Three key questions

And in non-preview news, the Cleveland Indians have signed outfielder Michael Brantley to a four-year contract extension.

Enjoy your fast-dwindling offseason, everyone.
