Preview day number seven is upon us, and we'll continue on in the AL West with the Seattle Mariners, who attempted to make several huge splashes this winter, but still look like the fourth best team in the division. We'll see just how much Robinson Cano, Corey Hart, Logan Morrison, and Fernando Rodney have improved Seattle this winter, but I have a nagging feeling that they're going to be closer to the Astros in the standings than whichever team emerges from the AL West meat grinder.

Also yesterday, another free agent domino fell – Ubaldo Jimenez signed a four-year contract with the Orioles (PENDING A PHYSICAL) for a reported $50 million.
