When ask to characterize his first season in the Bronx, here’s what Yankees catcher Brian McCann had to say about himself.
“Horrible. Hitting — you know, I feel good behind the plate. But swinging the bat, I need to get better.”
McCann also spoke about the pressure he’s putting on himself.
“It’s putting a lot. Myself — I’m a big reason for that. Our pitching staff has been amazing. It’s the big reason why we’re at where we’re at.”
