During Thursday night's Tigers-Pirates game at PNC Park, Detroit center fielder Andy Dirks fouled off a pitch from Pittsburgh pitcher Jeff Locke…and the ball bounced up and knocked home plate umpire Manny Gonzalez right in the groin. Thankfully for Gonzalez, it wasn't a direct impact and the ball was bouncing off of the ground, otherwise he could have had a lot more pain from the incident.
