Former Oakland Athletics (and briefly, St Louis Cardinals) pitcher and current ESPN MLB analyst Mark Mulder tweeted out the above video of an umpire making the greatest strike three call ever: WHOOMP THERE IT IS!
According to Mulder, former A's teammate (and 200 AL Rookie of the Year) Bobby Crosby sent him the video, which was recorded by his brother, a northern California scout.
This is brilliant, and the little dance the umpire does is hilarious. Nothing wrong with having a little bit of fun, though the Crusade For All That Is Right In Baseball may have a slight problem with his exuberance.
