The fine folks at Deadspin pointed this out tonight. Alex Cobb got the start for the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday night against the Boston Red Sox, and promptly allowed six runs on seven hits and a walk in the first inning. Of course, things would only get worse for Cobb off the field as his Twitter account was hacked while he was on the hill.
Poor Alex. I guess when it rains, it pours.
