During Monday's Orioles-Rays game at Tropicana Field, Baltimore third baseman Manny Machado suffered a very graphic leg injury when he awkwardly stepped on first base. Machado was howling in pain and in tears after the play, and eventually left the field on a stretcher after having his leg stabilized.

This is obviously a costly injury for the Orioles, but this isn't the time or the place to talk about how Machado's injury will effect Baltimore going forth. I also don't want to speculate on the severity of the injury, but it did not look good at all.
