RANK TEAM CHANGE SCHEDULE COMMENT
1 +8 vs MIL
vs PHI
Six in a row for the Pirates, including an impressive five game sweep on the west coast of the Angels and Mariners. Hopefully the first place Bucs get a hero's reception in their return home today against the Brewers.
2 +2 vs CIN
vs SEA
After that disastrous 2-9 stretch earlier this month, the Rangers are 8-2 over their last ten..against the A's, Cardinals, and Yankees.
3 -2 vs NYY
@ CHW
Despite a 2-5 week, the Orioles are still in second place in the AL East. This team could use an infusion of starting pitching, though.
4 -2 @ OAK
@ LAA
The Cardinals have lost their sole grip of first in the NL Central, losing four out of five to Texas teams last week. A west coast road trip this week could result in them losing first place altogether.
5 — 0 vs STL
vs CHC
Oakland lost three series in a row before sweeping a pair in Cincinnati. With two straight series against NL teams, maybe that luck will continue.
6 -3 @ TB
@ TOR
Take three out of four from the Red Sox, get swept by the Angels. Makes sense.
7 — 0 vs TOR
vs SD
As the three teams between the Red Sox and Blue Jays in the AL East collapse, Boston continues to just roll along while Toronto surges. This weekend's series will be interesting.
8 -2 @ TEX
vs SF
Cincinnati has fallen 3.5 games behind the Cardinals and Pirates in the NL Central, but they still have a massive lead on the Nationals for the second wild card slot.
9 +3 @ CHW
@ KC
The Tribe will take a four game split in Baltimore, and seven straight against the White Sox and Royals should allow them to put more pressure on the Tigers.
10 -2 @ ATL
@ NYM
The poor Diamondbacks were stuck in a rain delayed, extra inning game yesterday, and now have to face the Braves this weekend, who will be riding the high of Chipper Jones' number retirement. There could be a paddlin' in Atlanta.
11 -1 vs ARI
vs MIA
Despite Braves fans freaking out about the team's current slump, they're still 13-12 in June with a 5.5 game lead in the division, the largest in baseball.
12 -1 @ BOS
vs DET
Toronto's red hot bats were doused in Tampa, but the Jays need to get their swag on this week against two of the top teams in the American League.
13 +2 vs PHI
@ COL
Los Angeles has won six in a row, and their next nine games are against three reeling teams: the Phillies, Giants, and Rockies. The time to make a surge is now.
14 -1 @ NYM
vs MIL
Washington hasn't been more than a game above .500 in a month. Yet, they haven't been more than two games under .500 either…mediocrity is fun.
15 +2 vs WAS
vs ARI
HAPPY TWO START MATT HARVEY WEEK!!!! This weekend, the Nationals get Harvey *and* Zack Wheeler…poor bastards. Also, the Mets are closer to third in the NL East than last. That counts for something.
16 -1 @ MIN
vs CLE
Since hitting the .500 mark last week, the Royals are 2-6, with both wins coming by a run.
17 -2 @ COL
@ CIN
Losing three out of four to the Marlins at home, and getting swept in LA by the Dodgers has sent the defending champs into a tie with the Rockies for third in the NL West, just two games ahead of the Dodgers for last.
18 -2 @ BAL
@ MIN
Mark Teixeira's season is over. The GM is telling Alex Rodriguez to shut the f*** up. Welcome to the Bronx.
19 +4 @ MIA
@ BOS
San Diego hasn't been able to make much headway since getting to .500, and have fallen back under after losing a series to the Phillies and splitting with the Dodgers.
20 +1  @ HOU
vs STL
Get swept at home by the Pirates, sweep the Tigers in Detroit. Unfortunately for the Angels, they're just 3-7 against the Astros this year, so that might not exactly be a relief for them.
21 +6 @ SEA
@ OAK
Chicago has won two straight series, Matt Garza is pitching great, Carlos Marmol has been shown the door…life is good on the North Side.
22 -3 vs SF
vs LAD
2-8 in their last ten and two games under .500. By this time next week, Colorado might be in the basement of the NL West…though the slumping Giants could be a nice panacea for them this weekend.
23 +3 @ PIT
@ WAS
Win a series against the Braves, lose a series against the Cubs. At least Milwaukee fans get the debut of Johnny Hellweg to look forward to tonight.
24 +1

vs SD
@ ATL

Miami has won five out of six. Celebrate! Ricky Nolasco could make his last start as a Marlin tonight, though.
25 -3 vs KC
vs NYY
So much for .500 being in striking distance. But hey, the Twins still have a better record than the Angels and Dodgers!
26 — 0 vs DET
@ HOU
The Rays are floundering around the .500 mark, and they get to face Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander in back to back games. That's not fair.
27 -4 @ LAD
@ PIT
Philadelphia gets to run into the red hot Dodgers and Pirates this week. Their high watermark for the season is *one* game above .500.
28 +1 vs LAA
vs TB
Bud Norris and Jordan Lyles back to back in Houston's rotation is a pretty good combination, all things considered.
29 -1 vs CHC
@ TEX
Only one start from Felix Hernandez this week makes me want to just ignore the Mariners over the weekend.
30 — 0 vs CLE
vs BAL
EVERYONE'S FOR SALE! Except for Chris Sale and, for some reason, Paul Konerko. Time to rebuild on the South Side.
