Fan leaps for tossed ball, wipes out in spectacular fashion

During  Sunday's Braves-Cardinals game, Andrelton Simmons caught a pop-up hit by Kolten Wong of the Cardinals to end the seventh inning. As Simmons jogged back to the Braves dugout, he tossed the ball into the crowd for a Braves fan. Based on the arc of Simmons underhanded throw, I'm assuming he was targeting the female fan in the Chipper Jones jersey in the second row.

Another Braves fan in front of her had designs on the ball, though. He leapt for the ball, getting a hand on it and wiping out on the concrete between the seats and the wall separating the stands and the field. The fan got the ball, but nearly took out a kid sitting next to him in the process along with spilling a beer and what looks like a water (which will set you back about $13).

But hey, it's all worth it, because you're a grown adult and you have a cheap souvenir from a baseball game and probably a bruise or two. Good job, good effort. I can't even make a "best fans in baseball" joke, because the guy was a Braves fan and not a Cardinals fan. That's the biggest tragedy of the whole video.
