The day after the All-Star Game sucks. There aren't any games. There aren't any games to preview. There generally isn't any breaking news. It's just…this. So bland, so uneventful. I don't even have a pic of the day today, because NOTHING HAPPENED (aside from the ESPYS, but who really cares about hte ESPYS?).

Anyway, yesterday we continued our buyers or sellers feature with the Giants, revealed our AL MVP and NL MVP, and also broke down the ideal landing spots for a variety of trade targets.

Today, there's also not much going on. We'll have a feature breaking down the top five stories of the second half of the season, and also will roll on with buyers or sellers, focusing on…the New York Yankees. Oh boy.

Ah yes, the post-holiday hangover time of the year…it's alive and well here in the baseball world, and there wasn't a lot going on. Things will likely start to kick back into gear next week, but there were still some noteworthy events over the past couple of days.

-The Indians signed Brett Myers, adding some veteran presence to their rotation.
-The Marlins said they'd listen on Giancarlo Stanton, and I considered what the superstar could bring back in a trade (hint: a lot).
-Then, I told you why your team won't be trading for Stanton.
-Randy looked at whether or not Matt Garza could be an ace-level pitcher for the Cubs in 2013.
–Sergio Romo was detained at an airport for getting angry with the TSA.

Today, we've got a look at what the dream roster for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic would look like, and I think I'm going to have something about Hall of Fame voting (honorees announced next week!). Maybe we'll touch on the inanity of Kevin Towers seemingly considering Justin Upton and Jason Kubel as interchangeable parts instead of realizing that Upton is much, much more valuable.
