Dugout Digest – one down

We have our first eliminated team of the 2013 Division Series, and its the Atlanta Braves. The Dodgers won a wild 4-3 game on Monday night to punch their ticket to the NLCS, and they'll await their opponent. But who will it be? Well, we don't know yet after the Cardinals forced a Game 5 by winning 2-1 in Pittsburgh. Meanwhile in the AL, the Rays stayed alive thanks to Jose Lobaton, and the A's pushed the Tigers to the brink of elimination, despite a fracas in the ninth.

Before tonight's games, you might want to check out this crazy MLB Network feature about Neil Walker and Roberto Clemente, Carlos Beltran's Postseason heroics, and Bryce Harper's brother as a finalist for mustached American of the year.

Two games today. At 5:07 PM on TBS, Dan Straily starts for the A's in Detroit against Doug Fister in Game 4 of their series. At 8:37 PM on TBS in Tampa Bay, Jake Peavy starts for the Red Sox against Jeremy Hellickson as Boston looks to avoid heading home for Game 5.

Enjoy your day of Postseason baseball, everyone.
