Dugout Digest – on the brink

The Dodgers smashed the Braves on Sunday, and the Pirates rallied late to beat the Cardinals. Both teams are now one win away from meeting in the NLCS. With the Red Sox leading the Rays 2-0, we could see three teams punch their tickets to the LCS on Monday…or, we could see the Postseason picture get a little more muddled and exciting.

We've got four, count 'em, FOUR, games on the schedule today. Your Monday kicks off at 1"07 PM on MLB Network, with the A's taking on the Tigers in the ALDS. Jarrod Parker starts for Oakland, and Anibal Sanchez gets the nod for Detroit. Your second game of the day starts at 3:07 PM on TBS, and will be the aforementioned Cardinals-Pirates matchup. Rookie Michael Wacha starts for St Louis, and Charlie Morton will take the hill for Pittsburgh. 6:07 PM brings you the Red Sox and Rays on TBS, with Clay Buchholz taking on Alex Cobb. Finally, your night will finish with the Braves and Dodgers at 9:37 on TBS. Veterans Freddy Garcia and Ricky Nolasco will toe the rubber for each club.
