Dugout Digest – happy Tigers day!

We end our fifth of six preview weeks today by focusing on the AL champion Detroit Tigers. Detroit seemingly sleepwalked through the first five months of the 2012 seson before turning up the jets in September and winning the AL Central and going on a tear through the playoffs until running into the Giants freight train in the World Series. Most of the Tigers core returns for 2013, with the only real changes being Torii Hunter in right field and a now-healthy Victor Martinez DHing. A repeat in the division looks to be in the cards, but that's why the games are played.

Yesterday was White Sox day on TOC, and here's your recap.
