You know, even if he's not the same Roy Fargling Halladay anymore (TM Zoo With Roy), Doc is still a decent enough pitcher. On Sunday, the Philadelphia starter allowed one run over eight innings to the Marlins, and despite only getting five whiffs on 87 pitches, it was enough to carry the Phillies to a 2-1 win over Miami. The win was the 200th of Halladay's career, making him the 112th pitcher in MLB history to hit that mark, and just the second active pitcher to get there (with Andy Pettitte being the other one). Ironically, Tim Hudson will pick up his 200th very soon, as he's also sitting on the 199 mark and has a start in Pittsburgh coming up on Friday. With the way Atlanta is playing, we could be seeing our second 200 game winner in a week very soon.

Game of the Day: Brewers 4, Cardinals 3 (ten innings). It's been a rough go of things this year for the Brewers, and they needed a notch in the win column. Trailing 3-0 heading into the eighth inning following a dominant performance through seven innings by Jaime Garcia, MIlwaukee jumped into action. Ryan Braun put the Brewers on the board with a two-run homer in the eighth off of Trevor Rosenthal, and tied the game in the ninth against stand-in closer Mitchell Boggs after Yuniesky Betancourt doubled in Jean Segura. In the tenth, Jonathan Lucroy hit a solo homer off of Fernando Salas to put the Brewers in front, and three pitchers managed to keep the Cardinals off the board in the bottom half of the inning to preserve the victory.
Pitching Lines of the Day: In Boston's 5-0 win over Tampa Bay, Clay Buchholz threw eight shutout innings, allowing two hits, while striking out 11 with four walks. Hiroki Kuroda threw a complete game shutout for the Yankees in their 3-0 win over Baltimore, allowing five hits and striking out five without a walk. The Braves pounded the Nationals 9-0 to complete a sweep, and Paul Maholm threw 7 2/3 shutout innings, giving up four hits and walking one while striking out seven. Josh Beckett pitched great for the Dodgers in their 1-0 walkoff loss to the Diamondbacks, allowing one run on six hits in 8 1/3 innings, striking out nine and walking one. Jake Peavy dominated the Indians in a 3-1 White Sox win, allowing one run on five hits in seven innings, striking out 11 without a walk.
Hitting Lines of the Day: Austin Jackson had a day for the Tigers in Detroit's 10-1 blowout win over Oakland, going 4/6 with three runs, three RBI, and his first homer of the year. Josh Hamilton continued to blossom for the Angels in their 4-1 win over Houston after he went 3/4 with three RBI, a triple, and a homer. The Pirates came back to beat the Reds 10-7, and Pittsburgh backup catcher Mike McKenry went 2/4 with three RBI and two homers. Hunter Pence led the Giants to a 10-7 comeback win against the Cubs, going 3/4 with two runs, a walk, and a game-tying homer in the ninth inning.
Other Games: The Mets and Twins were snowed out at Target Field. The Rockies edged the Padres 2-1 behind the arm of Jorge de la Rosa. The Mariners split a four game series with the Rangers, winning 4-3 to give Brandon Maurer his first career win.
