Our first playoff team was ousted on Tuesday night – the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds fell 6-2 to the Pirates, sending Pittsburgh to the NLDS in St Louis on Thursday for a matchup with their NL Central rivals. Tonight, we'll have another team eliminated, as the Indians host the Rays for the right to travel to Boston to take on the Red Sox.

Around the Corner…
There was lots of Pirates-Reds related content on the site yesterday, including video of Todd Frazier's nice catch in the second inning on Tuesday night, Jason Grilli going undercover at a Dick's Sporting Goods, and the Postseason Watchability Rankings, featuring the Pirates at the top of the standings. Also yesterday, Garrett talked about some Postseason narratives you're probably already tired of, and Ian rolled out the post-mortem for the Texas Rangers.
We've got just one game on the schedule this Wednesday – the Rays and Indians in Cleveland at 8:07 PM on TBS. Alex Cobb starts for the Rays, while Danny Salazar goes for the Tribe. The winner will advance to Boston to take on the Red Sox in the ALDS, with Game 1 starting at 3 PM on Friday.
Enjoy your day of Postseason baseball, everyone.
