Dugout Digest – an eventful evening

The Dodgers are on the board in the NLCS after their 3-0 win on Monday night. But perhaps the bigger stories coming out of Game 3 were Yasiel Puig gloriously pimping a triple and the "Rally Bear" causing chaos at Dodger Stadium. Oh, and then a video surfaced from after Game 7 of the 1965 World Series featuring Vin Scully interviewing Sandy Koufax.

PIC OF THE DAY

In a sad note, MLB umpire Wally Bell passed away at 48 following a heart attack. RIP.

We've got two games on this Tuesday. At 4 PM on Fox, the Red Sox take on the Tigers in Detroit following their crazy comeback in Game 2 of the ALCS. John Lackey will take on Justin Verlander, with both teams trying to take a 2-1 lead in the series. Meanwhile at 8 PM on TBS, Game 4 of the NLCS will begin as Ricky Nolasco and the Dodgers look to even their series with Lance Lynn and the Cardinals.

Enjoy your day of baseball, everyone.
