Chipper Jones is still bitter about the Braves turning on him in October

Back in October, Chipper Jones picked the Dodgers to beat the Braves in the NLDS. The players in the clubhouse weren't too thrilled about that, and as a result, no one would catch his first pitch before Game 1 of the NLDS, leaving the team's mascot (Homer) to do the honors.

Flash forward to today. Jones' former teammate Tim Hudson has now signed with the Giants. Hudson was a teammate of Jones' in Atlanta for eight years, and also caught former manager Bobby Cox's first pitch before Game 2 of the NLDS. Jones didn't take too kindly to that.

Give me a break. Jones' tenure on Twitter has been an absolute disaster, and has done a good job at alienating fans of his and of baseball. This latest passive-aggressive tweet is nothing new from him.

He's just like the guy you knew in the office who would always follow up something ridiculously stupid by saying "ah, I'm just kidding, don't take things so seriously!"

Jones did mean Tim in this tweet, and not Hudson's wife, Kim. At any rate, Jones has been doing a good job at tarnishing his image and coming off like a petulant child in his retirement – not that he was thought of too highly before he joined Twitter, that is.
