Chase Utley triple goes into ivy, turns into multiple baseballs

During Friday's Phillies-Cubs game, Chase Utley tripled to right center field in the sixth inning. Cubs center fielder Junior Lake grabbed the ball and threw it back in to the infield, but as the ball bounced off the wall covered by the famous Wrigley Field ivy, Lake got a surprise – a second ball popped out of the ivy.

It reminds me of the State Farm commercial with Kerry Wood finding Andre Dawson in the ivy. It also reminds me of pinball, when you smash the right bumper and get a multiball bonus. Multiple baseballs in play? Sure, why not? It would have been more than a little interesting if Lake threw both balls in to different players and the Cubs pulled off some sort of hidden ball trick, though I really doubt that would be legal at all.
