Marco Scutaro changes jerseys mid-game

This is…weird. During the first three innings of Thursday's Giants-Astros game, Giants second baseman Marco Scutaro was wearing the "correct" Giants road jersey, with "San Francisco" spelled out across the front. In the fourth inning in the field, he was wearing the Giants' road alternate jersey, which has the interlocking SF on the front. Then in the fifth inning, when Scutaro came up to bat, he was once again wearing the correct "San Francisco" jersey. What the hell went on here?

Apparently, what happened was that Scutaro swapped his jerseys before the fourth inning because the jersey he was wearing for the first third of the game was soaked in sweat. Scutaro accidentally put on the alternate jersey, and couldn't switch it before having to take the field in the fourth inning. After leaving the field, he switched to the correct one. For the record, the jersey snafu seems to have worked some magic for the Giants. They were down 4-0 before Scutaro's jersey issues, then proceeded to score eight straight runs after he switched jerseys en route to an 8-4 win and a sweep of the Astros.
